This time comes a little unconventional recipe for me – the savory one. Since there were a few last pears on the tree a few days ago; and after the weather that is about to come, I doubt there will be any; I decided to try the combination of pears and a savory quiche or tart. Quiche, or a savory tart, is probably best known with ham, cheese and eggs, but I automatically associate pears with a savory tart with blue cheese. Therefore, Pear and Blue Cheese Tart was created. I used classic puff pastry from a store as a base, as it is simple and this way you have the tart ready right away. It is filled with cream cheese and half of the blue cheese to make the tart a little creamy. Then add the pears, sprinkle the remaining blue cheese and a simple savory tart is ready.
