I´m sure you´ve noticed the trend to make various flavored coffees in cafeterias. Why not to make one at home? For this lavender latte you don´t even need a coffee maker, just simple instant coffee. All you need is a milk frother. If you don´t like lavender, you can replace it with, for example, chai tea. There are lots of variations. It´s a great warm up in this freezing weather.
Lavender latte (without coffee maker)
Simple recipe for homemade caffé latte with lavender with no need for coffee maker
Servings: 2 cups
Ingredients
- 600 ml milk
- 1 - 1/2 tsp dried lavender flowers (according to the intensity of the taste you want)
- 2 x 3 tsp instant coffee (3 tsp into each cup)
- water
Instructions

Mix milk with dried lavender flowers and heat it on the cooker. Stir from time to time.

Put it aside when it starts to boil.

Strain lavender from milk.

Create foam using milk frother. Mix it until there are no bubbles on the surface.

Put coffee in the cup and pour on hot water to get about 1 centimeter of coffee.

Fill the rest of cup with lavender milk.
