Waffles are for me a great replacement of cake, breakfast or just a snack between main dishes. You can find many recipes on Internet, but for me this one is the best because these waffles are soft, moist on the inside, crispy on the outside and veeery tasty. I do them in the round waffle maker, so this dose will make about 15 round waffles.
Recipe (15 pieces)
250 g softened butter
200 g sugar
2 packets of vanilla sugar
5 eggs
500 g all-purpose flour
1 tsp baking powder
500 ml milk
2 tbsp cocoa (optional)
Directions:
1. Beat eggs with sugar and butter. Add vanilla sugar, flour mixed with baking powder and milk. If you want to have chocolate waffles, add cocoa. Mix together.
2. Put about 3 and half tablespoon of batter in waffle maker, spread the batter over the whole surface, close the waffle maker and bake until golden brown.
