These banana muffins are with their moisture very similar to banana bread, but an advantage is that you don´t need a baking pan for bread. Thanks to smashed bananas and yogurt, you don´t have to afraid that they would be dry. Plus, bananas with peanut butter create really interesting combination. There are only 2 tablespoons of peanut butter, so it´s not so intense flavor and with bananas they create just the right combination. With chocolate, they´re just perfect.
Banana peanut butter chocolate muffins
Delicious and moist banana muffins with peanut butter and chocolate
Servings: 15 pieces
Ingredients
- 190 g all-purpose flour
- 1 tsp baking powder
- ¼ tsp salt
- ½ tsp cinnamon
- ¼ tsp baking soda
- 2 medium-sized bananas
- 75 g butter
- 75 g peanut butter (about 2 tablespoons)
- 120 g sugar
- 1 egg
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 125 g plain yogurt
- 100 g dark chocolate + chocolate to sprinkle
Instructions

Mix flour with baking powder, salt, cinnamon and baking soda.

Combine butter, peanut butter and sugar using electric mixer. Then add egg, vanilla extract, yogurt and smashed bananas. Mix it again.

Incorporate the flour mixture to butter mixture and mix it. Add chopped chocolate.

Fill 2/3 of muffin cup with batter. Sprinkle each muffin with chopped chocolate.

Bake for 25 – 30 minutes on 180 degrees.
