These bars are tasty (and calorie) bomb once again. It´s a homemade version of american sweet snickers, just the dough is like for twix, like a cookie, not soft marshmallow version of snickers. You can hold it better this way 😀 Caramel is quite liquid, but on Friday I heard a sageness that you got to mess up with every tasty cake 🙂

Tasty homemade snickers with liquid caramel
Ingredients
- 280 g melted butter
- 100 g sugar
- 380 g all-purpose flour
- ½ tsp salt
- 2 tsp vanilla extract
- 400 g granulated sugar
- 180 g butter (real butter, not margarine)
- 240 g whipping cream
- 100 unsalted peanuts
- 300 g milk chocolate
- 100 g dark chocolate
Instructions
- (baking pan – 42x 32, 5 cm)
- Mix butter with sugar, flour, salt and vanilla extract. Put the dough on baking pan with baking paper and spread over using a spatula. The dough will be difficult to spread, so use a spatula that was in water, put it in water every time when the dough will be difficult to spread. Bake on 180 degrees about 20 – 25 minutes. Let it cool.
- Caramel: Heat sugar on medium heat when stirring constantly. When it is completely melted, lower the heat and add butter. Stir immediately. Be careful not to burn yourself. When the butter is completely melted, add the whipping cream. Stir immediately. Be careful not to burn yourself – there will be a lot of steam. Cook and stir constantly until it begins to bubble, then switch off immediately. Add peanuts into caramel. Pour caramel on the dough.
- Melt milk and dark chocolate in the water bath and pour it on the cooled caramel. Let snickers firm.
