Here comes Christmas baking. I bet that you´re already thinking hardly what to bake for Christmas. I am. I hope that these Orange Shortbread Stamped Cookies could be a small inspiration for you. If you remember the stamped madness one year ago (or maybe even two years ago), I´m still into it, but I guess not as much as I used to. After all, all you need are 1, 2 stamps with Christmas theme and you have won, no decoration is needed. I´m definitely up to this. These cookies have a great, traditional Christmas taste of orange and cinnamon, and I´m sure many people in your home will love them, same as in mine did 😉

Simple Christmas shortbread stamped cookies with orange and cinnamon flavor
Servings: 100 cookies
Ingredients
- 250 g sugar
- 2 eggs
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- Zest of 2 oranges
- 250 g butter
- 500 g all purpose flour
- 4 tsp cinnamon
Instructions

Beat eggs with sugar.

Add vanilla extract and grated orange zest.

Mix again and add butter.

Then add flour mixed with cinnamon.

Create dough using a mixer or by kneading using your hands. Mix/knead until all ingredients join together.

Put dough in a refrigerator for an hour.

Roll out dough on floured surface. Put a stamp in flour and press it down to dough.

Then cut out cookies.

Put cookies on a baking pan covered with baking paper (dough will not expand so you can put more pieces in a baking pan).

Bake on 180 degrees for 10 – 15 minutes. Cookies shouldn´t be too brown.
